 MAHAN AIR & LTU

Mahan Air ,a private ,airline based in Kerman ,Islamic Republic of Iran, was formed in 1991.Scheduled   domestic passenger service was initiated in 1992  using  two TU-154M  passenger jet which were purchased the year earlier and international service to Damascus was established shortly there after .

All cargo operations were commenced in 1994 using a fleet of IL-76 cargo jets owned by the airline. Airbus A300-B4 joined the fleet starting 1999 and A310-300 in 2002 to  enable the airline to expand its reach beyond the regional destinations it served during the first few years of existence. Mahan Air currently employs some 900 personnel and is serving 18 points network in 9 countries in Europe, Far-East ,Indian Sub-Continent and the Persian Gulf region.
