Information you need 

• The state agencies ,organizations and banks of the island are open to the public from 7:30 to 12:30 and 16:00 to 19:00 from Saturday though Wednesday . On Thursdays , they are open in the morning .

• Public transport vehicles such as taxi cabs and minibuses are available all over the  Island  . There are also rent – a –car services available on the Island.

• The Common Currency of transaction is Rials , found as bank notes of 200, 500, 1.000, 2.000, 5.000ad 10.000 Rials . Of course, all the hotels, restaurants and entertainment places accept Dollars , there are some foreign exchange shops changing foreign currencies like : lary Exchange , Zafar Exchange ,… .   

• Reconfirm if you break your journey for more than 72 hours on an international flight or 24 hours for a domestic flight .                                                       Check - in minimum 24 hours before the time shown in your itinerary in the Air port.      Update Travel Documents before traveling such as, passport ,all necessary visas and health document  , etc.

• Not to accept any packets from  unknown persons, not to leave your baggage unobserved at any point of time , not to carry  dry cells batteries, knives , scissors sharp instruments , tools , fire arms  , ammunitions, toy replicas is prohibited in the passenger cabin .

• TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICE

  
  Each sizable town or tourist goal has its own Tourist Information Office on the spot. These are invaluable sources of information, from maps to local hotel lists and other miscellaneous items. The personnel (often English speaking) are extremely helpful. They don't recommend restaurants or make hotel reservations (unless it is requested by you). Tourist information Offices are usually found at the airports and the main railway stations. The main Tourist Office in Tehran is at: 11 Dameshq St, Vali-e Asr Ave, tel : 8892212-5.
